Finders Keepers is one of our favorite things to do here at Sun Bum. For those of you who have never heard of it, we basically show up at random places around the world and give away free stuff…just because we feel like it.
For this most recent round, we decided to do something sweet for the rad little beach town of Montauk, New York.
We rallied our crew together along with a couple Montauk locals (photographers Drew and Mikey DeTemple) and headed for the beach with 45 of our sticker-blasted coolers filled with Poppi Sodas and sunscreen.
This pyramid of coolers we built toppled over on our first attempt, but once we finally got it up all 45 coolers were gone in minutes. We like to keep our locations a secret until the last minute, so keep an eye out on social for where we’re showing up next.
What happens when you drop into Waco, Texas, with 200 Sonny Pool Floats? Well, first you’ve gotta get ’em all inflated (a heroic task by our team for sure) but the real fun started when we let ’em loose in the world’s longest lazy river. Yep. It was bananas.
We’re always on the lookout for locations that offer some local flavor with plenty of foot traffic. This time around, we had our eyes set on the idyllic bridge at Basta Rock, just above La Grande Plage and right in the heart of Biarritz, France.
