EPIC time last week hanging with the Passafire crew. We’ve always enjoyed listening to their music around the office, so imagine how stoked we were when they said they would come play a little jam session for us on the back porch. We called a crew together, grabbed some beers, and per tradition, dragged our beat up yellow couch and bean bag chairs outside. The band got here around 4 and snacked on some beef jerky and PB&Js, telling us stories from the tour. They set up around 6 and played til the sun went down. After the show they didn’t want to get back in the van and drive so we wound up hitting the local dive bar Beach Shack, grabbed some margs, and everyone crashed at the office for the night. Great crew, awesome vibes, thanks for the good times Ted, Mike (with his badass key-tar), Will, Nick, and Daniel. We love you guys
Sonny’s Porch has always been about community, ever since our first band squeezed onto the tiny stage at our Cocoa Beach home/office back in 2015. Since then, it’s been our way of welcoming friends, family, and under-the-radar musicians into our world. This time, it was Being Dead’s turn.
From the local honky-tonk circuit to the mechanical-bull-like wedges in the pool, we couldn’t have asked for a more fitting zone to welcome Rattlesnake Milk at our pop-up Sonny’s Porch event on opening day of the 2025 Waco Surf Water Park summer season.
