We got word that Sugar Candy Mountain was on their way to West Palm Beach before jumping on the European leg of their tour and reached out to see if they wanted to come hang at the Cocoa Beach office.
After a long drive from Birmingham, Alabama we were the first spot the gang hit in Florida. Best way to stretch their legs? A walk on the beach, of course.

We set up the porch, snagged some brews, and invited our neighbors and friends to come jam during our lunch break. From grabbing a bite at one of our fave local spots here in Cocoa Beach, to listening to our new friends rock out on Sonny’s Porch, it was an unforgettable afternoon. It was so rad to see the band perform their songs live with twists to their recorded tracks.

Of course the SCM crew had to tag the office. They brought along some vinyls to sign as well so be sure to keep an eye on our social for a chance to snag one of these originals!

Sonny’s Porch has always been about community, ever since our first band squeezed onto the tiny stage at our Cocoa Beach home/office back in 2015. Since then, it’s been our way of welcoming friends, family, and under-the-radar musicians into our world. This time, it was Being Dead’s turn.
From the local honky-tonk circuit to the mechanical-bull-like wedges in the pool, we couldn’t have asked for a more fitting zone to welcome Rattlesnake Milk at our pop-up Sonny’s Porch event on opening day of the 2025 Waco Surf Water Park summer season.
